Professional, versatile and willing to try any challenge, Lee Cope can write and edit a variety of material from different genres and media. Although most of her experience is in fiction (especially speculative fiction), she also has experience in newsletters, articles and editorial pieces.
Local Availability: I can travel around Melbourne, Australia, but I also spend time in Canberra and Sydney. I am happy to do business via e-mail.
I have experience in writing for both print publications and digital content. I have extensive experience with print formatting, and basic experience with digital formatting.
I have been freelancing for five years, and have worked on a range of projects, including advertising material, government inquiries, articles, and web content. My main experience, however, is in novels. I have edited a number of novels over the years, in adult horror, YA, adult fantasy and historical thriller genres, and I am releasing my own novel as a self-published serial (link below).
I completed my Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English, minoring in Linguistics, in 2014 at the Australian National University, and began my Master of Arts Management at University of Melbourne in 2016.
For the past year and a half, I have been working as the Training Course Administrator for H&R Block in Melbourne, where in addition to administrative and website management duties, I edited and created training and troubleshooting material, including user guides for our Student Portal, and training presentations for our reception staff.
