Biographical Note
A graduate of Auckland University with a degree in English and Media Studies, Je t'aime further fuelled her passion for writing with journalism studies followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising Creativity at Auckland University of Technology.
After graduating she got a dream break at renowned advertising agency (DDB) as a below-the-line copywriter and lapped up experience in day-long brainstorm sessions, advertorial copy, public relations, the value of client relationships and the lessons of balancing creativity for the 'real world' and 'real budgets'.
With a continued interest in magazines - and no fear of hard work - she worked as a Beauty Editor for a new magazine while working in advertising, later taking the plunge into full-time magazine work at Fairfax. More recent magazine work includes contracting as editor of online magazine www.gloss.co.nz.
Areas of special interest are: women's interest, health, fitness, beauty and fashion.
Wordgirl's strength lies in her eye for detail, her creativity and ability to write effective copy that aligns a brand with their target market.
