An awarding-winning journalist, Trish loves writing on anything from the arts to agriculture. Producing both words and top quality photographs for a story is her specialty.
Local Availability: Waikato, elsewhere by arrangement.
Trish came to journalism after discovering a latent passion for storytelling. Her earlier career in the law together with raising three children have given her a wealth of life experience to draw on. She also takes a keen interest in the arts.
In 2009 she graduated from Wintec with a first class honours degree in Media Arts (photography). Her published feature stories and photography reflect her wide-ranging interests. Trish was journalist (covering political and rural issues) for the Waitomo News 2011-2012 and won NZ CNA Best Journalist award (circulation up to 7500) for 2012.
