With a background in academic and trade publishing, Shel has developed a strong understanding of writing and publishing processes. She has freelanced on a number of published books: assessing, editing, proofreading and reviewing. Shel is experienced in writing fiction, non-fiction and corporate texts. She is also skilled in the development and delivery of creative writing workshops.
Shel has worked with large corporations, educational institutions, welfare organisations, small business owners, and established and indie authors. She has previously worked with Penguin Books Australia, McGraw-Hill Book Company, Harcourt Education Australia, English Corner Publishing, and the publishing branch of the University of Glasgow’s Association of Scottish Literary Studies.

Shel has a Master degree in Professional Writing and Literature, along with two Bachelor degrees: English Literature and English Teaching. Her clients are located around the world.
