Biographical Note
Swati Prasad has worked with leading publications of India - such as The Economic Times, Business Standard, The Indian Express and Business Today – since 1994. Her last assignment was as a Special Correspondent with Business Today (2001-2005), India’s largest selling business magazine.

As a freelance writer, Ms Prasad regularly contributes articles and writes a blog for a technology news portal. She also takes up writing and rewriting assignments for multinational consultancies, audit firms and corporate houses.

Ms Prasad has written on a host of industries, such as automobiles, technology, media, FMCG, retail, banking, housing, insurance, telecom, pharmaceutical and steel, besides writing on the Indian economy, economic policy and international trade.

She also has tremendous experience in editing - having brought out feature pages and supplements in her 11-year long stint with various publications.

Ms Prasad is a graduate in Economics from Asia’s most renowned college - Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, and holds a diploma in business journalism.
