I write and edit daily news of the environment from across the United States and around the world, working with multiple correspondents. This original news wire of the environment is widely read, republished, and translated into Chinese for distribution in Taiwan and on the mainland. I offer custom news feeds on topics of your choice. Currently producing one on sustainable transportation for Michelin's Challenge Bibendum, and blog posts for Maximpact.com on sustainable technology and investing. Feeds on renewable energy, oceans, wildlife, forests, living outdoors are in my recent past.
Born and raised in New York City, I got my start in radio journalism in Vancouver, British Columbia, where I profiled most of the interesting people who lived in or visited the city, also covering cops and courts, entertainment, science and politics.
My only book, a biography of the first woman elected to the Canadian Parliament from British Columbia, in the 1960s, was published in 1993.
I am open to interesting projects, particularly online or on the air.
