Biographical Note
Rebecca is an experienced technical writer whose commitment to her clients, ability to write clear English and deliver to schedule ensures constant repeat business. She has written for a variety of engineering, manufacturing, scientific, financial, and government organisations. 

Projects have included installation, user and service manuals, online help systems, technical requirements, specifications and procedures, style guides, executive reports, and website content. Rebecca is able to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the scale of the project. 

After completing an Honours degree in Environmental Science at London University, she joined a large international IT company based in Europe. She designed and wrote numerous manuals for a variety of software applications. The manuals were written for an international audience and many were translated. Rebecca would manage the translation process for up to 15 countries. As a senior writer, she also helped to recruit and train new writers. She then moved into technical Product Management and spent about four years managing software development projects. This often involved teams spread across several countries. 

After moving to New Zealand, Rebecca completed a Graduate Diploma of Science in Geology at Auckland University then returned to technical writing on a freelance basis in 2001. She also writes occasional feature articles and is a member of TCANZ, the Technical Communicators Association of New Zealand.

With her corporate knowledge, strong science background, and experience as a technical communicator in both Europe and New Zealand, Rebecca is able to offer a professional writing and editing service in any of these areas.
