Biographical Note
With an extensive track record in public relations/communications and broadcasting, Mike Bodnar combines an ability for lateral, creative thinking with experience in, and understanding of, private and public sector functionality.
Operating under his company name of Immediate Creative, Mike specialises in short- or longer-term project-based challenges. He particularly enjoys transforming specialist information into lay language for general audiences with creativity and humour. With additional photographic skills Mike is well-placed to provide a total service.
Accredited in Public Relations (APR) Mike has provided a variety of communication support for: the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology (MoRST), Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), the MacDiarmid Institute (Victoria University of Wellington), Wellington Intercontinental Hotel, Holiday Inn Wellington, NZ Defence Force HQ, NZ On Air, Aviation Security Service, NZ Food Safety Authority, the Ministry of Fisheries, the Ministry of Education, and more.
Previous clients include many other public sector agencies and private companies.
For these he has delivered strategic communication support, writing (and/or photography) for annual reports, statements of intent, video scripts, case studies, feature articles (for internal and external publications), websites, media releases, speeches, booklets, and brochures.
