Biographical Note
Jim Maher has worked as a journalist with newspapers across Australia, including the Perth 'West Australian', the 'Daily News' and the Melbourne ‘Herald’. He has fifteen years experience in TV news and current affairs and was senior political reporter in Sydney for the Seven Network.

Jim ran a successful business PR campaign for government during the Sydney Olympics in 2000, was media adviser to the Treasurer of New South Wales for five years and has recently developed and run a major PR campaign on new liquor laws in Australia.

Jim knows where the stories are across Australia and has extensive contacts. He writes crisp, accurate copy in news and feature assignments and is also expert in media relations, media release production and corporate writing.
