Biographical Note

Julianne uses her artistic eye and perceptive writing skiils to:

A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College in Comparative Literature and the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Education, Julianne has also studied writing and photography at New York University in New York City and Italian language and culture at D.I.L.I.T. in Rome and at the Istituto Venezia, in Venice.

Awards:
2003 Rosebud Magazine’s X.J. Kennedy Contest for Creative Non-Fiction, Venice in my Dreams; “a superior piece of travel writing,” judge Robert Wake of Cambridge Book Review Press.

2006 International Photography Awards, Honorable Mention, Bridges of Florence.
