Biographical Note
Are you looking for something written in plain English, rather than tech-speak or incomprehensible jargon? Then you've come to the right place.

I am adept at proofreading and editing. I pay great attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors. However, I do this without diluting the author's own style and voice.

As well as editing, I write my own articles suitable for printing in magazines, in newspapers, and on websites. I do all of my own work and do not outsource projects to others.

I am a native speaker of British English, with ten years' experience working with American and Irish clients. I've got more than a decade's experience in I.T., writing reports and documentation for both engineers and end users. 

My experience also includes sub-editing a national music magazine in Ireland, which I did for several months on a voluntary basis while they looked for permanent staff.

I'm fanatical about correct spelling and grammar, and no misplaced apostrophe or inappropriate semi-colon escapes my sharp eye.
