JobDetails: We are seeking freelance writers who have experience and contacts in the logistics and supply chain industry. We need writers based in locations world-wide.

Additional responsibilities may include:
* Owning community building and member engagement
* Observing and understanding the most influential places for logistics and supply chain management on the web
* Building an extensive database of key influencers and the conversations they have about logistics and supply chain management
* Relationship building with key influencers:
o Journalists
o Consultants
o Service providers
o IT providers
o Government officials
o Bloggers
* Learning and monitoring the players in blogs, communities, and news sites. Know the issues, topics, and trends
* Writing and delivering content to the community (daily blog posts)
* Supporting member retention efforts and member appreciation fulfillment
* Working with our global team to coordinate online community member recruitment and manage ongoing participation levels

The candidate must understand business issues, interview thought leaders, and write about what is happening. To succeed in this role the candidate needs to enjoy building and maintaining relationships with leaders in the industry.


Qualifications

Theoretical and practical skills
The candidate should have:
* A Bachelor´s degree in business or other relevant discipline
* A minimum of 2 years of professional experience
* Proficiency in Ms Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Strong business writing, verbal communication and presentation skills
* Solid analytical skills
* Good work organization, including keeping department files and database up-to-date

It is a merit if the candidate has:
* Experience with Photoshop and HTML
* Knowledge of marketing research and online data collection
* Education or experience from supply chain management

The ideal candidate has journalism and business experience.

Language skills
* Fluency in English is a requirement.
* Fluency in multiple languages is a merit.
