Biographical Note
Sky has had extensive experience in the Information Technology industry as a software developer, analyst, project manager and technical writer. He has always had a keen interest in the ergonomic and usability aspects of software applications. His focus has been on the design of clean, intuitive user interfaces coupled with easily accessible help and user documentation.

While living in the United Kingdom he worked with large corporate organisations such as Royal & Sun Alliance, IBM, Philips on large IT systems and was at the forefront of introducing PC systems into the Royal & Sun Alliance Group. In 1992 he emigrated to New Zealand and worked with some major Auckland based organisations to utilise his writing skills on many of the projects he was working on. This combination of technical writing skills and analytical skills has resulted in him working on many interesting and innovative projects.

More recently he has focussed on technical writing and has had experience across a wide a number of different industry sectors including pulp making, forestry and industrial management. He has worked on projects with Spicers Wealth Management, Guardian Royal Exchange, Carter Holt Harvey, Forest Industry Training and Education Council, COMPETENZ, AgriQuality NZ and Jade Software Corporation.
