Biographical Note
I'm an experienced copywriter and editor, recently relocated to the beautiful coast of Maine from Washington State. I've written for the Web, for newspapers and technical documents, as well as for case studies, white papers, scripts, brochures, and grants.

Since 2000 I have been a telecommuting independent contractor, working with a variety of organizations, including Avaya Communication in New Jersey, Unisys in Pennsylvania, Demand Media online, and the Washington State University Center to Bridge the Digital Divide.

In 2006, as the editor of a weekly newspaper in Washington State, I covered several small communities on the Olympic Peninsula. Writing, editing, interviewing, proofreading, and fact checking were an integral part of my duties as editor.

From 2001 to 2003, I taught for Digital University, an online professional development Website. I designed and delivered several classes on the subject of interactive writing.

From 1994 to 1999, I was a Distance Learning Coordinator for Peninsula College in Port Angeles, Washington. In that capacity, I designed and directed a start-up distance learning program for a corrections facility near the campus. I also built and delivered the classes to inmates and managed a closed-circuit education television station for the prison.

I love my work. I believe in the power of words to enlighten, to move and to make change. I'm diligent about anticipating and meeting deadlines, and I'm flexible with the needs of global work teams. Call or email me, ask for samples of my writing, and let's talk about your project!

I don't accept ghostwriting projects or any project that involves the false impression that a piece was written by someone other than the stated author.
