Biographical Note
I discovered approx 15 years ago that I had the ability to capture, and express situations/occasions when others weren't able to do so. This has either been in poetic or straight form. Areas covered in BRIEF are occasions such as weddings, anniversaries; descriptive enticements for real estate; descriptive writing for plated food; catalogues; brief articles (when given basic info); dating profiles; radio ads... Quirky or serious - often it's left up to me. I do not use particularly 'fancy' wording, but get the message across - and in the case of poetry, it may be olde worlde, or modern...rhyming or non. EDITING I ADORE... knocking things right back to the necessary length - or just making things sound better :) Happy to do projects, but would also like a regular situation. I don't normally see 'subjects in person' for descriptive work, or meet my clients for writing. Phone, mail and email contact is all that's needed to liaise. Can work from anywhere which is the idea. Either visuals via email, or just details suffice! My ability has been noted in several magazines; lengthy verse on headstone of a journalist; two poems are gracing the external walls of our council building approx 6 foot high for years as a result of my suggestion to vamp up our main drag!! Nothing like a challenge...?
